Salary: RM 1800 – RM 2200

Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant at GTC Dental, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and enhancing the patient experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting with clinical procedures, managing patient care, and ensuring that the dental office runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Clinical Procedures: Support dentists during examinations and treatments by providing the necessary instruments, suctioning, and managing the dental chair and lighting.

• Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for treatments by explaining procedures, ensuring their comfort, and taking and recording medical histories.

• Radiography: Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring they are accurately processed and properly stored.

• Infection Control: Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment following established infection control protocols.

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including treatment notes and medical histories.

• Appointment Management: Assist with scheduling and confirming patient appointments, as well as managing patient flow in coordination with the front desk.

• Patient Education: Provide patients with information about their treatment plans, home care instructions, and preventive practices.

• Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks such as managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
